It will be a long five years until we meet

As the Oracles said, the egg would take five years until it hatches. Celestia sheds from her thousand year sadness to actually feel happiness once again. She might love her subjects dearly, but her sadness was directed to losing Luna. When she obtains the dragon egg, she feels a spark inside of it almost as this spark reaches for her. Was this to be her light at the end of her tunnel? To raise a child and a dragon hatchling of all things that she knows. But she has been alone for 978 years, she now sees that if this dragon hatches, it would be lonely.

 She thought back to the tale of Storm Breaker as he himself was an abandoned hatchling before being found and taken to Canterlot. Remembering what those dragons did to him, she shuddered thinking about if it were the unborn dragon. She wrapped her forehooves around it and draped her wing over it saying,

"Never. I will never leave you...my baby."
